UX (User Experience)

How easy, clear and pleasant a website or app is to actually use, beyond just how it looks.

How it works

User experience covers the whole process of understanding, using and recovering from interactions with a product. It includes the expectations before a visit and the outcome after it. Attractive screens matter, but the journey also needs clarity, trust and useful recovery when something goes wrong.

A realistic example

A customer may understand a service page but fail to submit its contact form because the error message does not explain the correction. Improving the message and keeping entered details can matter more than adding another visual effect.

What to check

Follow a realistic task from entry to outcome. Check whether users can choose a relevant path, understand requirements, recover from errors and return to previous context. Test first visits, slow connections and language switching rather than only the ideal desktop route.

Limits and next steps

Do not assume every visitor has the same technical knowledge or goal. Use evidence from actual task testing and qualified feedback where available. A performance score is one input to the experience, not a substitute for checking whether the task succeeds.
