We measure where your signal fails, then plan and install a network that covers the whole property under one name. Explained in plain words, priced before we start. Full signal in one room, nothing upstairs Usually walls, floors and distance, not the internet contract. Signal quality room by room Walls and floors in the path Video calls freeze in the home office A weak link to the office, interference or an overloaded connection. Signal and latency at the desk Interference from nearby networks Several network names, phones will not switch Extenders with their own names make devices cling to a weak signal. Signal where each device sits Guests complain about the Wi‑Fi Coverage gaps, or a guest network that was never set up properly. Nothing works at the pool or terrace Indoor equipment rarely reaches outside. That needs outdoor planning. Distance and line of sight Slow everywhere, even near the router Then it may be the connection or the router itself. Full signal in one room, nothing upstairs Thick stone or concrete walls, several levels and long distances weaken Wi‑Fi more than most people expect. The router may be fine; the signal just cannot travel through the building. Do I need a new internet contract?
Not necessarily. Good speed beside the router with problems in other rooms can point toward signal distribution inside the home.
Is mesh always the answer?
No. Mesh can help where cabling is difficult. Where cable is possible, wired access points often provide a more stable link.
Can you do it while I am abroad?
Tell us when you will be away and who can give access. Access, timing and updates are agreed before a visit is arranged.
What does it cost?
That depends on the property and the cause. Ask for a clear scope and price before agreeing to work; an inquiry is not a quote.
Should I buy a new router first?
It is usually more useful to understand the current problem first. New hardware alone may not fix the cause.
Can guests have a separate Wi‑Fi?
Many setups support a guest network. Tell us which devices guests may use and which stay private.
Can you do it while I'm abroad?
Often we can find a way. Tell us when you will be away and who can give access to the property. Access, timing and how you will receive an update are agreed before any visit is arranged.
What helps you understand where the signal is weak?
Tell us which rooms are affected, where the router sits and which devices struggle. A simple floor sketch and examples of when it happens are a big help in telling a coverage problem from an internet connection issue.
Should I buy a new router before asking for help?
We would usually suggest understanding the current problem first. The router, its position, the cabling and the building can all affect the result, and new hardware alone may not fix the cause. Happy to take a look with you.
Why does Wi-Fi work near the router but not upstairs?
That is very common. Distance, walls, floors and the route between rooms can all weaken the signal. We look at coverage where you actually use your devices, including the connection between any access points.
Can guests have a separate Wi-Fi connection?
Many setups support a guest network, which is a lovely way to keep things tidy. The separation available depends on the equipment and settings. Tell us which devices guests should reach and which should stay private.
